Please read these terms carefully before using DeclutterAI. They define your rights and responsibilities.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DeclutterAI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.

2. AI & Generated Content

Accuracy Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate text, summaries, and schedules. AI can make mistakes.

Specifically regarding Email Features:

  • Summaries: AI summaries may miss context. Always check the original message for critical details.
  • Auto-Replies: AI-generated replies are drafts. YOU are responsible for reviewing and editing them before sending. We are not liable for sent content.
  • Urgency: Priority flagging is an estimation and may not always reflect your personal priorities.

You acknowledge that the Service may produce inaccurate or offensive outputs.

Ownership

You retain all rights to the input you provide to the Service. Subject to applicable law, you own the output generated by the Service.

3. Google OAuth & Data Deletion

DeclutterAI integrates with Google APIs to provide email categorization, task management, and calendar integration.

  • User-Initiated Actions: All interactions with the Google Calendar and Google Tasks APIs are strictly user-initiated. DeclutterAI does not create events or tasks in the background without your explicit action.
  • Data Deletion: You can disconnect your Google account at any time through the "Connected Accounts" section in the app settings. Disconnecting an account triggers an immediate and permanent purge of all associated metadata, snippets, and authentication tokens from our database.
  • Gmail Modify Scope: We use the `gmail.modify` scope strictly to synchronize your dashboard actions (Mark as Read, Star, Trash) back to your inbox. DeclutterAI does not perform permanent deletions; messages moved to Trash are subject to Google's standard 30-day retention policy.

4. Payments & Refunds

Certain aspects of the Service may be provided for a fee.

  • 💳 Billing: You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis.
  • 🔄 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time.
  • 💸 Refunds: Refund requests are processed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DeclutterAI, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
